Nine days dedicated to the mobile camp safari in Botswana, a tented camp reserved for safari guests only, set up in the heart of nature reserves in close contact with nature, an aperitif around the fire and dinner under the stars; they are all unforgettable moments.
We will begin to explore the Moremi Game Reserve, a nature reserve located at the Okavango Delta and famous for its high concentration of felines, especially leopards and lions. With a bit of luck we will be able to spot wild dogs, always on the move and hunting for prey. We will stay in this area for three nights.
We will then pass through the sandy Savuti area, part of the Chobe National park, where we will admire the animals’ ability to adapt to apparently hostile territories, here elephants and lions dominate the scene; here too the camp will be our home for three nights.
The Savuti is the area where the National Geographic documentary series, The Wild Kingdom, was shot and where the famous lion Sekekama lives.
Finally the Chobe Riverfront, always part of Chobe National Park, here the herds of elephants that come to the river to drink are huge, we will spot them both from our off-road vehicle and from the boat, also you can admire the rare black saber-antelopes and of course predators, such as hyenas, lions and leopards, while in the river there are many crocodiles and hippos. We will spend three nights at the camp.
The tour can be done either from Maun to Kasane or vice versa.
The Moremi Game Reserve in Botswana is a paradise for every nature photographer, in this area the concentration of felines is impressive, it is most likely the best place to observe leopards.
Moremi is not only the richest area of the Okavango Delta but it is also a place with incredible landscapes, where grassy savannahs alternate with swamps crowded with water birds and noisy hippos.
The safaris at the Moremi are carried out by 4 × 4 vehicles, motor boats and traditional mokoro, narrow canoes pushed with the aid of a long wooden pole.

The Savuti area, in Botswana, is part of the Chobe National Park, it is a flat area interrupted by some granite hills where some cave paintings attributed to the San were found; the Savuti is famous for its two numerous herds of resident lions and for the presence of many spotted hyenas.
The appearance of Savuti varies greatly from the dry season, when the landscape is very arid and sandy, to the humid season in which the vegetation is lush and the savannah is of an intense green; it also varies from year to year, based on the abundance of seasonal rainfall and the presence or absence of water in the Savuti canal and in the marshes area.
In the rainy season the area is affected by the migration of zebras moving between Botswana and Namibia.
The Savuti is the area where the National Geographic documentary series, The Wild Kingdom, was shot and where the famous lion Sekekama lives.
The Chobe Riverfront in the Chobe National Park is the area that extends along the banks of the Chobe River and where there is a high concentration of animals all year round, especially during the dry season as the river is the only permanent source of water.
You can spot large flocks of elephants and buffaloes, that go to the river to drink, and a large number of birds, this area is in fact one of the favorite destinations for birdwatchers.
Even predators lurk near the river waiting for prey unaware of their presence.
The dry period runs from May to October, during these months the sighting of the animals is simpler than in other periods of the year.
Antimalarial prophylaxis is not mandatory but is recommended.
Cameras may be affected by the large dust and sand that rises when vehicles pass and that remains suspended in the air, especially in the dry period, it is useful to bring a brush or compressed air spray to remove the sand.
Sunglasses and sunscreen are a must.
